DAY 1

Kuala Lumpur - Istanbul - Skopje

Gather at KLIA 1 to board a flight to Skopje (transit in Istanbul).

DAY 2

Istanbul - Skopje

Visit Skopje:

- Skopje Kale Fortress: This defensive fortress located in the center of Skopje was built as early as the 6th century.

- Stone Bridge: The stone bridge that crosses the Vardar River in the center of the city was built in 1451.

- Alexander The Great Statue: This 14.5 m high monument was built in 2011 in conjunction with the 20th anniversary of the independence of the Republic of Macedonia.

- Visit the Daut Pasha Hammam which is a historic public bathhouse built in the 16th century with an Ottoman design. Originally used for baths, it is now a museum featuring art and culture.

- Free time at Macedonia Square while shopping for traditional food souvenirs at the Old Bazaar.

- Old Train Station: The old Keratapi Station was built in 1938 with Byzantine decorations.

Overnight in Skopje.

DAY 3

Skopje - Tetovo - Ohrid - Sturga

Visit in Tetovo:

- Sarena Painted Mosque: This colorful mosque complex was built in 1438 and also houses a flower garden, a Medresa school and the Turbe (tomb) of 2 sisters who sponsored the construction of this mosque.

Visit in Ohrid:

- Haji Turgut Mosque: The oldest mosque here was built in 1466.

- Abedin-Pasha Mosque: A mosque built in the 17th century which also houses the first Emir of Ohrid.

- Free time at Chinar Square which is famous for the Old Chinar Tree which is over 1000 years old and shopping at Old Bazaar Street.

- Enjoy the beautiful view of Lake Ohrid which is quite beautiful and vast like the ocean.

- Monastery of St. Naum: This Orthodox monastery was built on the banks of Lake Ohrid since 905 during the Bulgarian Empire.

DAY 4

Sturga - Tirana - Shkoder

Tirana Tour:

- Ethem Bey Mosque: Built in 1791, this mosque was a catalyst for the fall of communism in the country.

- Clock Tower of Tirana: The 35m tall clock tower was built in 1811.

- A panoramic bus tour passes the Pyramid of Tirana, the National History Museum, the Cold War Bunker, Skanderbeg Square and the Skanderbeg Monument.

Shkoder Tour:

- A panoramic bus tour passes the Rozafa Castle, an Illyrian-era fortified city and residence, the Ebu Beker Mosque and Shkoder Lake.

Overnight in Shkoder.

DAY 5

Shkoder - Kotor - Dubrovnik - Trebinje

Kotor Tours:

- Old Town of Kotor: One of the most beautiful seaside towns in the Mediterranean

with 20m high city walls and attractions include the Square of Arms, Watch Tower, Prince’s Palace, Pillar of Shame and the Sea Gate of 1555.

- Old City of Dubrovnik: Known as the Pearl of the Adriatic for its scenic beauty. This city is definitely a must-visit if you are in the Balkans. Visit the main attractions inside the city walls such as the Large Onofrio Fountain, Rector’s Palace, Clock Tower, Bell Tower, Orlando’s Column and also stroll along

DAY 6

Trebinje - Blagaj - Mostar

Visit Blagaj:

- Take photos and enjoy the beautiful view at the Buna River Spring.

Visit Mostar:

- Mostar Bridge: Bosnia's iconic bridge that is famous all over the world and was built in the 16th century based on Balkan Islamic architecture.

- Koski Mehmed Pasha Mosque: A mosque built in 1618 based on Turkish Ottoman architecture.

- Shop for souvenirs at the Kujundziluk Bazaar located along the Neretva River and visit the Turkish House.

Overnight in Mostar.

DAY 7

Mostar - Sarajevo

Sarajevo tour:

- Walk around the Vrelo Bosne recreational park and enjoy the natural tranquility of this park.

- Tunnel of Hope: A tunnel built during the Bosnian War and used by local residents to obtain food and medicine supplies when the city of Sarajevo was besieged by Serbian troops.

- Shop at Bascarsija Bazaar while taking photos at Sebilj, a wooden monument built in 1753, pray at the Gazi Husrev-Bey Mosque, the largest mosque in Bosnia built in

1530, the Sahat Kula clock tower and Vijecnica.

- Discover and take photos of the Sarajevo Roses, the nickname given to the effects of mortar bomb explosions during the Bosnian War that were re-cemented with red to form a rose in front of the Sacred Heart Cathedral.

DAY 8

Sarajevo - Ahmici - Jajce - Bihac

Tours in Ahmici:

- Visit the 116 Monument in the small village of Ahmici where the tragic event of the killing of 116 residents in one morning by the Croatian army during the Bosnian War took place.

Tours in Jajce:

- Take photos at Pliva Waterfall which is 27m high and the Watermills Open Air Museum which is quite unique with the construction of 20 wooden watermill houses on the Pliva River in Jajce.

Overnight in Bihac.

DAY 9

(Breakfast / Lunch)

Bihac - Plitvice - Zagreb - Kuala Lumpur

- Visit and stroll around the Plitvice Lakes mountain lake area which is called the paradise of the world. As its name suggests, this area is quite beautiful with its green lakes and its amazing series of waterfalls.

Visit in Zagreb:

- Visit around the city of Zagreb especially at Ban Jelacic Square where there is the Zagreb City Scale Model, Ban Jelacic Statue and Lotrscak Tower.

Depart back to Kuala Lumpur (transit in Istanbul).

DAY 10

Istanbul - Kuala Lumpur

Arrive at Kuala Lumpur airport (KLIA 1).
